Alex Lindsay, Director of Evergreen Garden Design and Build studied at Winchester School of Art (Southampton University) and Merrist Wood, Guildford. His BA in Art History has given him an informed knowledge of Modern Art and Architecture that is evident in his design work.

Alex gained experience from building gardens with Prima Flora, a Surrey based landscaping company. This training was complemented by his studies on the Garden Design diploma course taught by well known garden designer Andrew Wilson at Merrist Wood, for which he received a high distinction. After initially working for Andrew Wilson's design practice he set up his own company building his own designs. Evergreen Garden Design & Build is based in Alex's home town of Sevenoaks, Kent. Since 2012 Alex has also been teaching garden design courses for 12 years, ranging from short introductory courses to two year Diploma courses.
